HOT NEWS - Issue 9 Arrives!

This is a 39 Mbyte version of the 172 page magazine.

Welcome to the home of WJ

UPDATE: Just a quick message to say a big thank you to everyone who has emailed us with words of support about our return and thanks for the content we are giving away.

Since the site came back online our web servers have been, quite literally, hammered by visitors. So far our old PDF magazines have been downloaded over 47,000 times, or an average of 7,800 times each, which is fantastic considering they’ve been back online less than 3 weeks [WJ came back online in the last week of March, 2008].

Other articles in our Archive have been downloaded numerous times and we’re adding more articles on a weekly basis. So thanks again for your continued support and welcome back to the WJ readership.

UPDATE - Another week of excitement at WJ HQ. I got together with Neil Fawcett for a few days of work, which in this case involved playing a 28mm game of Ambush Alley and working on a few magazine ideas. Hard work, but someone has to do it!

Fresh into the office this week are a set of rules from the League of Augsburg called Beneath the Lilly Banners. Written by Barry Hilton this set of fast play rules is lavishly produced and has been passed on for an in depth review. For more information to keep you going until the review please see http://www.leagueofaugsburg.com

Wargames Journal is a superb way for you to tell wargamers and modellers around the world about your products and services.

During 2006 and 2007 our PDF magazines were downloaded on average 25 to 30,000 times each. This means that WJ delivers a large worldwide audience for your adverts. You can contact Katie Bennett for more details of our advertising opportunities and to request a Rate Card.
