Well work is well underway on my first issue (your Issue 10) which should be with you in around 5-6 weeks. There is plenty to look forward to no matter what your gaming persuasion. The wargames world has never really looked brighter, not a week goes by without a deluge of new releases hitting the virtual shelves. Look out for reviews on the WJ site of:
Gaming wise at WJ HQ and at Ponders End Wargames Club (PEWC) we are ploughing through our Impetus campaign, playing plenty of World at War and play testing a few sets of rules for various companies and for ourselves.
It has been a pleasure to receive so many letters of support and offers to write articles and we now have some excellent articles being written by readers for readers that are destined for Issue 10.
On a personal level my painting table is full of samurai and WWII US figures as well a plethora of modern 12mm figures and scenery that are destined for an Ambush Alley game report. I can’t wait to try out Sharpe Practice from the Lardies. I always enjoy their rules and now have an excuse to watch all those old episodes of Sharpe again!
So look out for further news early next week when we will release the proposed contents for Issue 10.
Cheers for now,
Rich Jones
